Advanced Coastal Technologies (ACT) is an erosion control company which began over 27 years ago with experimental installations of subsurface, Geotextile, sand-filled containers. These containers have proven to be very effective in protecting upland coastal property from storm surge erosion. The installations, many completed 20 years ago, have multiple success stories and continue to provide the protection for which they were designed. We specialize in enhancing, protecting and restoring coastal ecosystems through custom solutions and proven technology.

From the technology developed for our dune stabilization, we have expanded our use of Geotextiles to offer flood protection with our FloodSafetm product and water harvesting with our unique Water Tube™. In addition, we offer shore property protection for inland lakes and waterways and ground stabilization for golf courses and river banks.
